Driver identified in I-380 rollover crash
UPDATE: Police have identified the driver in a rollover accident along Interstate 380 near downtown Cedar Rapids that sent one person to the hospital Wednesday night.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes near H Avenue.
According to a Cedar Rapids police report, Stephen Horan, 44, of Marion, was driving south about 9 p.m. Wednesday when he passed another vehicle. While pulling back into the right lane, Horan clipped the front bumper of the other vehicle, causing him to lose control.
Horan was taken to Mercy Medical Center, where he's no longer listed as a patient. He was also ticketed for unsafe passing.
Traffic in the southbound lanes was reduced to one lane as officials worked to clear the scene.
