SUV runs out of gas, stalls southbound Interstate 380 traffic
UPDATE: Rush-hour traffic on Interstate 380 slowed to a crawl for about 30 minutes Wednesday morning when a vehicle ran out of gas.
The sport-utility vehicle stalled around 7:15 a.m. in the fast lane near Seventh Street exit. Police directed motorists to merge until someone came with more fuel. The slowdown stretched back to the 29th Street exit.
Around 7:50 a.m., the SUV was on its way and the lane was reopened.
