Elsie M. Knaack, 90, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.
Elsie is survived by her son, Terry Knaack of Vinton; daughter, Kathy (Keith) Erickson of Fort Pierce, Fla.; grandchildren Jeff Erickson of Fort Pierce and Jennifer (Nick) Hodgson of Port St. Lucie, Fla; step-grandchildren, Dee Alexander and Doug Johnston; and great-grandchildren, Paige and Nicholas Hodgson.
