Amber Cudahy, 33, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Anamosa. Interment is in Green Center Cemetery, Morley. The Rev. Greg Griffin and Pastor Carla Burge will officiate at the services. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa has been entrusted with the services.

Surviving are her husband, Josh; two children, Alexis and Joshua Jr.; a stepdaughter, Tennille Meyers of Cedar Rapids; a stepgrandson, Desmond; her parents, Connie and Edward Thomas; a sister, Traci (Ian) Melville, and her grandmother, Norma Thomas, all of Anamosa; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, soul sisters and friends.
Amber Lea Thomas was born April 12, 1983, in Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Connie Easterly Thomas. Amber attended Anamosa Community Schools. She married Joshua Cudahy on Feb. 6, 2016, at the Wapsi Country Club. Amber was a daycare provider and super mom most of her working career.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
