GreatAmerica Leasing Corp. added Greg Pabich (see photo) as a credit analyst. Jennifer Franklin (see photo) joined as sales, customer account professional. Brad Wheelan (see photo) started as vendor relationship manager.

Penny Shedeck (see photo) joined Village Cooperative as marketing and sales coordinator for its new Cedar Rapids independent-living housing project. The office is at 3741 Center Point Rd. NE, suite A.

Prairie Capital Advisors Inc. hired Victor Aspengren as vice president in charge of business development. Aspengren will keep headquarters at its new Cedar Rapids office. He is the chairman of the board of the National Center for Employee Ownership

Horizons A Family Service Alliance added to its board of directors Jon Oswood (see photo), Schneider Electric; Tom Petersen (see photo), ITC Midwest; Drew Westberg (see photo), city of Cedar Rapids; and Laura Wirth (see photo), Transamerica.

Dr. Daniel McGrail (see photo) joined the Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

Lindsey Buchheit (see photo) is now at Four Oaks in Cedar Rapids as business development director. Buchheit was previously the database manager and membership coordinator at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library.

Promotions

Berthel Fisher & Co. in Marion announced two promotions. Joanna Schaul (see photo) was promoted to senior vice president and operating officer of its Financial Services Inc.

Schaul had been vice president of business development. Dustin Zachmeyer (see photo) was moved to director of product sales and services, also in Financial Services Zachmeyer was senior due diligence analyst.

Elections

Janet Lyness was elected secretary-treasurer of the Iowa County Attorneys Association. Lyness has been the Johnson County Attorney since 2007.

Kevin Lindblom was elected to New York Life Insurance Co.'s Agents Advisory Council. Lindblom, a New York Life agent for 12 years, is in its Cedar Rapids office.

Brucemore announced the election of 3 new members with 3-year terms to the board of trustees: Tim Kintner (see photo), Bankers Trust; Todd McNall (see photo), Design Dynamics Inc.; and Phil Peterson (see photo), Mercy Medical Center. Officers for 2012 will be Tom Amosson (photo), Rinderknecht Associates Inc., president; Brenda Duello (photo), University of Iowa Development, vice president; Echo Batson (photo), Rockwell Collins, secretary; and Craig DeWulf (see photo), RSM McGladrey, treasurer.
