JEFFREY ALAN KORNS

Jeffrey Alan Korns was born May 29, 1967, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Jean Louise Korns. He attended schools in Cedar Rapids. Jeffery accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in his youth, knowing Jesus Christ died on the cross for his sins. This led him to St. Paul Bible College in Minnesota, where he graduated with a degree in ministry.
While in college, he developed a love of organ music, even building his own pipe organ. He served on the worship team at the Alliance Church in Cedar Rapids for several years. He worked for Toyota Financial Services in Cedar Rapids for 16 years.
Jeffrey never married. He lived with his mother until her death in 2000. Jeffrey died unexpectedly in his home on March 4, 2018, of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Alliance Church, 1622 42nd St. NE, Cedar Rapids.
