Cook, Ted Arthur
Ted Arthur Cook, 69, of Phoenix, formerly of the Central City area, died Sept. 2, 2009. Memorial services were held at Hansen Mortuary Chapel in Phoenix on Sept. 10. Deacon Paul Csuy officiated, with Marine Honor Guard military rites.
Ted was born in Anamosa, Iowa, the son of Ted Jay and Katherine Kula Cook, on July 2, 1940. He graduated high school at Central City and served in the Marine Corps from 1958 to 1961. He was a retired salesman. Ted was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, a volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul charity, and a grateful member of AA.
He is survived by a daughter, Dustina (Ryan) Deere, and a grandson, Bryce, of El Mirage, Ariz.; a brother, Dewey J. Cook of Mayer, Ariz.; two sisters, MaryAnn Woods of Troy Mills and Katherine (Joe) Carnahan of Springville; and nieces and nephews.
