Jeffrey Jon Jacobs, 51, of Atkins, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Jeffrey was born May 26, 1966, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Charles and Marjorie (Johnson) Jacobs. He graduated from Jefferson High School. Jeffrey was a welder for AMTEK Microwave. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and deer hunting. Jeffrey also enjoyed the band Road Trip.
Jeffrey is survived by his children, Shawna Hoffman, Adam Jacobs and Mari Jacobs, all of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; and siblings, twin, Jennifer (Ron) Frederick of Martelle and sister, Janelle (Tracy) Seeman of Newhall.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
