An Iowa City man is accused of four sex offender violations after deputies say he failed to check in with the Johnson County Sheriff's department and inform them he was living in Wisconsin.
According to complaints, Jason Natcone, 37, is required to show up to the sheriff's department in person to verify relevant information with them every three months. Police said he faired to appear in both October and January.
A Department of Criminal Investigations agent told deputies he had gone to Natcone's residence but was unable to make contact with him.
Complaints said an agent later made contact with Natcone in March, and Natcone told the sheriff's office he had been living in Wisconsin -- which caused him to miss checking in -- and was subletting his apartment, but had returned two days prior.
During their non-compliance investigation, complaints said police found Natcone did not register his car as that of a sex offender.
