Irene F. Drvota, (nee Astrosky), fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church Saturday, April 16, 2011. Beloved wife of the late, Anthony J. Drvota; Loving mother of daughters, Claudia Dooley (Michael) and Sandra Drvota (James Davis); Cherished grandmother of Tony, Mark, Matthew (Anna), Ryan Dooley and Alexander Davis; Great-Grandmother of Kaeley and Sebastian; Dear sister of Loretta Kvach (James) and the late. Helen Voorvart. A loving Babi, Aunt and Friend to many.
Daughter of Lithuanian immigrants; graduate of Roosevelt High School; vice president-secretary of J.A. Frederick's Brokerage Firm, a supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables, and member of All Saints Church; enjoyed travel, golf and her grandchildren.
Services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, on June 10. Memorial contributions preferred to Craig Hospital Foundation in Colorado or St. Mary's University of Minnesota, Dooley/Drvota Scholarship.
