Best Bets: Meet Vesta the Fox
N/A
Sep. 5, 2018 9:51 pm
Here's your chance to find out what the fox says. A little over a year ago, a baby red fox was given a second chance at life when she was rescued by Amber Oldfield, a Linn County wildlife rehabilitator. Suffering from burns, the tiny fox was named Vesta, after the Roman goddess of fire, home and hearth. She needed extensive medical care and nurturing, and has now become an educational animal. The public is invited to meet Vesta and Oldfield, as well as learn about animals native to Iowa, and wildlife rehabilitation.
