Congress needs to see unhealthy school pizza

Tomatoes, corn, green beans and pizza? Does one of these words seem out of place to you?
Apparently not to the U.S. Congress, because just in November Congress passed a bill that stated tomato paste qualifies as a vegetable. Has Congress been to a cafeteria lately? Being a high school senior, I've had recent experiences with school served pizza or at least that's what the lunch ladies like to call it. I call it a cardboard slab topped with unrecognizable meat and cheese that's been in the freezer for a month too long, not to mention the puddle of grease that accompanies each slice. I wouldn't call that healthy.
What's worse yet is that Congress caved into the demands of corporate tomato companies that make millions off school cafeterias just like my own. Is the support of tomato companies really more important than the well being of our country's youth? I think it's about time Congress takes a field trip of their own.
