Jean was an officer for Guardians of St. Joseph Branch W137 FCSLA, (formerly Catholic Workman), a fraternal life insurance organization. She also worked for JCPenney for 23 years, where she used her store discount very generously for her kids, and in later years for her grandkids. She also worked for The Gazette.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jim; her children, David (Janelle) Kazimour, Ann (John) Pfiffner, Mary Troendle and Stephen (Susie) Kazimour; and son-in-law, Phil Stechcon; eight grandchildren, Joseph, Benjamin (Lori), Jenna (Travis), Morgan, Michael, Matthew, Kyle and Kevin; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Easton and another one on the way.
