Mary J. Williams, 72, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a brief battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Blessed Hope Church, with the Rev. Matt Hantz officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton and one hour before services at the church on Saturday. Per Mary's wishes, she will be cremated following the service.
