Totten, Glenna L.
Glenna L. Totten, 80, of 4009 Glen Elm Dr. NE, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd; one daughter, Dianna (Larry) Kohl of Lisbon; two sons, Charles (Linda) of Hiawatha and Robert of Cedar Rapids; and her twin sister, Gleda (Virgil) Locke of Ottumwa. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Amy (Thomas) Kortemeyer and Kimberly Kohl, both of Lisbon, Laurie (Jim) Rummells of Walford and Marshall Totten of Hiawatha; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Morgan Kortemeyer, Kolbi Kohl and Macie Rummells; and a sister-in-law, Shirley (Charles) Bauer from California.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Donald, Darrell and Estol Humble; and two sisters, Leatha White and Cleora Pierson.
Glenna was born April 28, 1930, in Bladensburg, the daughter of Charles and Grace (Leeling) Humble. She married Floyd M. Totten on Oct. 4, 1948, in Ottumwa. Glenna was a homemaker. She was a wonderful person and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her beloved family.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial fund has been established in Glenna's name.
