LOIS E. (LOUX) FLEAGLE

Lois E. (Loux) Fleagle, 86, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Linn Manor Care Center, Marion, Iowa. Celebration of Life: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Coe College Clark Alumni House, 200 Center Point Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids. Casual dress is encouraged. Lois and her husband, Don, will be inurned together at a later date at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Lois was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Mildred (Schroeder) Loux. She married Donald "Don" Fleagle on June 2, 1956, in Clarion. Lois was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed planting flowers in her garden. She loved bird watching, especially her hummingbirds. Lois had a healthy addiction to chocolate and she delighted in conversations on the phone with her family. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Val (Ted) McLeod, Mark (Lori) Fleagle, Jim Fleagle (Lisa Bush) and Kristen (Todd) Meese; grandchildren, Shawn, Nichole, Natalie, Corey, Shawna, Morgan and Megan; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Karen Mechem and Dennis (Kathy) Loux.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don, in 2014; and sisters, Norma Jean Loux and Marilyn Cramer.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the loving staff at Linn Manor Care Center.
