Rodman E. Sunday, 72, of Decorah, peacefully passed away in the care of WMC Hospice on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, with his loving wife, Dorothy, at his side. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at the Decorah Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Bryan Robertson. Inurnment: Lutheran Cemetery, Decorah, in the spring of 2010. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three aunts, Elaine Lowry and Norma Costa of Decorah and Betty Sunday of Waukegan, Ill.; three stepsons, Carlton Vine and wife Joi of Johnstown, Ohio, Martin Vine and wife Kimberly of Walker, Iowa, and Jeffrey Vine and wife Patricia Vine of Oakdale, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Crystal Vine of Center Point, Iowa; 10 stepgrandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren and many cousins.
