Anthony "Tony" J. Koch, 58, of Waterloo, formerly of the Mount Vernon and Lisbon area, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at the Lisbon Cemetery, by Pastor Armond Floyd. Arrangements are with Morgan Funeral Home & Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon.
Survivors include his siblings, Barb (Jim) Dos of Waterloo and Dr. Tim (Nancy) Koch; sister-in-law, Ann Koch; and nieces and nephews.
Tony was born Jan. 18, 1956, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of Dr. Paul and Anna (Kruse) Koch. He attended school and then worked at the Sheltered Workshop in Cedar Rapids. Tony loved going to camp, music and dancing, parades, going out to eat, animals, especially dogs, and being around people. He also was a fan of "I Love Lucy" and enjoyed talking about family trips to Northern Minnesota.
