Benjamin Michael Malone, 24, of Greeley, Iowa, passed away from injuries following an accident on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at the Regional Medical Center, Manchester, Iowa. Visitation: 2 to
8 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. A private vigil service will be held prior to the visitation. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. Gabriel Anderson officiating. Additional visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Ben was born Jan. 24, 1994, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Steven Patrick and Tina Marie (Lincoln) Malone. He graduated from Edgewood-Colesburg High School in 2012. He worked for Paladin, Foust Enterprises, Hendersons and most recently for the Edgewood Feed Mill as a truck driver. Ben enjoyed fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, floating on the Turkey River, camping, snowmobiling, mudding, motorcycling and working on cars and engines. He especially enjoyed working on the farm with his grandpa.
Ben is survived by his parents, Steven and Tina Malone; sister, Melinda (Matt) John; nephew, Mark; paternal grandfather, Bernard Malone; maternal grandparents, Larry and Audrey Lincoln; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Elda Malone.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
