All-Big Ten Teams, Individual Award Winners Announced Through Wednesday
The Big Ten will announce its All-Big Ten teams and individual award winners beginning Monday with the All-Big Ten teams and 10 individual award winners live on BTN at 7:30 p.m. ET. The conference will also announce two additional award winners on Tuesday and five more on Wednesday. Please see Page 8 of the release for a complete schedule of postseason award announcements.
Michigan State, Wisconsin Battle for Big Ten Championship: Featuring a matchup between two teams that shared the conference title last season, Michigan State, representing the Legends Division, and Wisconsin, representing the Leaders Division, will take part in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday . . .
Michigan State-Wisconsin History: Saturday will mark the 51st all-time meeting between Michigan State and Wisconsin, with the Spartans owning a 29-21 advantage. Since 2000, the teams have met 10 times with each having won five matchups. The two teams met earlier this season in one of the more memorable games of the 2011 season . . .
Conferences Matches All-Time Mark With 10 Bowl-Eligible Squads: With Purdue's victory over Indiana on Saturday, the conference matched its all-time record of 10 bowl-eligible squads . . .
