Special needs Boy Scout troop and Venturing Crew plans open house

The Trailblazers district of Boy Scouts of America will hold an Open House on Tuesday, September 20th from 6:30-8:00PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 220 40th St. N.E. for young men and women and their parents or guardians to learn about the activities, adventures and friendships Scouting offers.

Troop 2 is for young men who are 11 years old, or have completed the fifth grade and not yet turned 18. Planned activities include hiking, camping, fishing, boating, field trips, skill development and merit badges.

Venture Crew 2 is for boys and girls ages 14-21. Planed activities include, field trips, sleep-overs, boating, crafts, skill development and plenty of social time.
