David C. Anderson passed away suddenly from a heart attack, Friday, Dec. 11, 2015.
A visitation is scheduled Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Per Dave's wish, there will not be a funeral service. Memorials in Dave's name may be directed to the Salvation Army. Dave chose to give the gift of life through the Iowa Donor Network.
Dave is survived by his wife, Mary Bumann; daughter, Andrea (Jim Dwyer); son, Dan; and his granddaughters, Scarlett, Neely and Meadow.
Dave loved his family more than anything and his happiest times were spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. Dave recently retired from MidAmerican Energy after over 30 years of service. Dave enjoyed his retirement by picking up his granddaughters from school, watching football with his son and son-in-law, cooking for his wife and tasting new recipes from his daughter.
This final stage of Dave's life was the happiest he had ever been. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family and beautiful wife.
