Kevin Lewis Keller, 69, of Watkins, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Mark Reasoner. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Teahen Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Monday after 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Kevin is survived by his 10 siblings, Darrell Keller and Richard (Cindy) Keller, both of Cedar Rapids, Eldon Keller and Gary (Sylvia) Keller, both of Vinton, Etheldene (Tom) Abbott of North English, Carroll Keller of Maricopa, Ariz., John (Nancy) Keller of Phoenix, Ariz., Dorothy and Doris Keller, both of Jefferson, N.C., and Karen Nieto of Elkin, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Nancy Keller of Cedar Rapids; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Kenneth, Marion, Glenn, Francis, Mary Catherine and Robert.
Kevin Keller was born July 6, 1948, in Iowa City, the son of John and Gladys Van Dee Keller. He was a graduate of La Salle High School in Cedar Rapids and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Kevin worked at General Mills as a production worker, retiring in 2012 after 25 years of service.
Kevin enjoyed NASCAR and car shows, and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
He will be missed by all.
