Brian Lee Westphal, 49, died Friday morning, Dec. 19, 2014, at home following a brief illness. Family services will be at a later date.

Brian was born Sept. 16, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, where he attended Jefferson High School.
Brian was a driver for Farr Transport and liked to fish, farm and attend tractor pulls.
Survivors include his wife, Patti; a daughter, Joslyn Westphal of Maquoketa; and three siblings, Mark, Lori and Jeriann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Carolyn (Webert) Westphal.
