Mary Ellen Bennett, 88, of Overland Park, Kan., formerly of Brooklyn,
Iowa, died May 19, 2014. A small family prayer service and memorial was held at St. Paul's Church in Lenexa, Kan., on May 24, 2014, to celebrate her life.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Willie Bennett; daughters, Diana (McGrew) Michener, Cedar Rapids, Lori (Bennett) Michael, Overland Park, Kan., and Bonnie (McGrew) Oakes, Glendale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
