Nichole M. Oldenburger died suddenly on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at home. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Dr. Howard B. Chapman. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Nichole is survived by her mother, Lori (Paul) Haskell; brothers, Eric (Brianna) Steffes and Alex Steffes; her grandpa, Darrel Oldenburger; grandparents, Darlene and Wayne Edgington; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other close family members; and her beloved cat, Otter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Randy Oldenburger; and her grandmother, Jeanne Oldenburger.
Nichole was born July 19, 1981, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Randy Oldenburger and Lori Haskell. She was a financial consultant at Toyota Financial in Cedar Rapids. Nichole was an avid Hawkeye fan. She enjoyed listening to music, specifically Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band and the Grateful Dead. Nichole loved spending time with "the crew" and her family. She loved to laugh and have fun. Nichole had a great sense of humor and a smile that would light up a room. She also enjoyed her coffee club with Paul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Nichole's memory.
