Marilyn Kay Crandall, 75, of Brighton, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a short illness.
In honor of Marilyn, her family is hosting a celebration luncheon from noon
to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at Brighton City Park Pavilion. Interment will take place at Sandy Hook Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a general memorial
has been established to be distributed to various service groups in the community that Marilyn was passionate about.
Memorials may be directed to Brian Blodgett at 210 S. Ninth Ave., Washington, IA 52353.
Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Kevin) Orris of Washington; daughter, Lonna Blodgett of Brighton; son, Brian (Michelle) Blodgett of Washington; son, Jeff Blodgett and Michael Todd of Cedar Rapids; son, Michael "Bubs" (Jacque) Hesseltine of Brighton; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Murlee Bohr of Cedar Rapids; sister, Debbie (Albert) Hagerla of Edina, Mo.; brother, Michael (Lori) Jones of Des Moines; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
