Krapfl, Rose Ann
Rose Ann Krapfl, 27, of Ryan, Iowa, died Friday, July 15, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. The Rev. Carla Burge will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Internment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa.

Surviving are her husband, Joe of Ryan; a daughter, Peyton of Ryan; father, Leon Parker of Mechanicsville; mother, Lori Parker of Waterloo; sisters, Loretta (Sonny) Clary of Oxford Junction, Lonna (Bill) Shadman of Waterloo, and Sarah (Joe) Anders of Wyoming; brothers, Dave (Barb) Parker of Waterloo, Steve (Deb) Parker of East Moline, Ill., and Leon Parker Jr. of Lincoln, Neb.; grandmother, Juanita Widner of Otterville; brother-in-law, Kevin Krapfl of Ryan; stepchildren, Chase of Ryan and Samantha of Elkader; and 18 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mackenzie Jo; grandfather, Jack Widner; two sisters, Jean Krall and Lori Andersen; and a nephew Brad Shadman.
Rose Ann Parker was born Feb. 22, 1984, in Waterloo, Iowa. She was the daughter of Leon and Lori Parker. She was a 2002 graduate of Midland High School in Wyoming. Rose and Joe Krapfl were united in marriage on August 14, 2010, on the family farm in Ryan, Iowa. Rose worked in home health care and the Anamosa Care Center and Mechanicsville Care Center for the past seven years. Rose was a very creative person, she always put other needs in front of her own.
The thing she treasured most was the time she got to spend with her children and family, she will be greatly missed by those who knew her best.
