Bears, Lori Anne
Lori Anne Bears, 50, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, following a brief illness. Private committal services will be at Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service.

Lori was born April 12, 1962, in Phoenix, Ariz. She moved to Iowa City in 1967 and attended Kirkwood Community College. She had been employed at the Iowa City VA Health Care System for 27 years.
For many years Lori was involved with the Special Populations Program and the Democratic Party. She had served on the boards of MHMRDD and TASH.
Lori is survived by her mother, Annabelle Campbell of Iowa City; her father, Gene Bears of Phoenix; and two siblings, Debbie and Gene Jr.
