LORI J. CHVALA
Center Point
Lori J. Chvala, 57, of Center Point, died from complications of frontotemporal dementia on Monday, July 11, 2016, at Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, at St. John Lutheran Church, Center Point. Arrangements made by Murdoch Funeral Home, Center Point.
Survivors include her husband, Don Chvala of Center Point; sons, Paul D. Chvala of Pensacola, Fla., and Luke Chvala of Weilerbach, Germany; mother, Ester Henderson of Center Point; and siblings, Mike (Cindy) Henderson of Urbana, Michelle Henderson of Marion, Leslie (Dwight) Pollock of Van Horne and Douglas (Insoon) Henderson of Seoul, Korea.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Lori was born Dec. 6, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Esther (Cunningham) Henderson. She graduated from Center Point High School. Lori was an avid reader and a huge Bob Dylan fan.
