Hill, Laura Ann
Laura Ann Hill of Cedar Rapids died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a long illness. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Teahen Funeral Home, by Sister Mary Lechtenberg. Burial: St. John Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Laura is survived by one daughter, Whitney Dalziel (Seth Chapman) of Cedar Rapids; one son, Kolin Schmidt of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; fiance, Brian Trapp of Cedar Rapids; mother, Barbara Roman of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Joe (Gloria) Jr. of Cedar Rapids and Jim (Laurie Sexton) of Toddville; two sisters, Linda (Gary) Erenberger and Cindy (Dan Ties) Driscoll, both of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dillian Hill; husband, Don Hill; and father, Joseph Roman Sr.
Laura was born Nov. 7, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Giblin) Roman.
She enjoyed reading and loved all types of animals, especially cats.
A memorial fund has been established and contributions may be directed to the family.
