Laura Lea Meyers died Monday, July 7, 2014, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. She was 73.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry of Aurora; one son, David (Dana) Meyers of Oelwein; one daughter, Debra (Gary) Brangman of St. George's, Bermuda; two grandchildren, Mitchel Meyers and Haileigh Meyers; one sister, Delores Bacon of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Thursday,
July 10, at St. Mary's
Catholic Church in Strawberry Point, with the Very Rev. Paul Peters as celebrant. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point. They may also call one hour before services Thursday at the church. Interment: St. Albert's Catholic Cemetery, Lamont.
