Mayor Declares Friday, July 13 as RAGBRAI� Immunity Friday

Mayor Ron Corbett has declared this Friday, July 13, as RAGBRAI® Immunity Friday in Cedar Rapids. The mayor declares that residents are immune from wearing their regular clothing and encouraged to wear Cedar Rapids “Survivin' the Ride” RAGBRAI t-shirts and bandanas.
By purchasing and wearing this apparel, residents are supporting all of the RAGBRAI events on July 26 and 27. All proceeds from Cedar Rapids RAGBRAI® events and merchandise sales will go to support a new universally-accessible playground near the new Northwest Recreation Center in the Time Check Neighborhood.
Cedar Rapids RAGBRAI t-shirts and commemorative bandanas are available for purchase online, over the phone and at the Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau office. To purchase merchandise online, visit

The “Survivin' the Ride” bandanas are available for $7.00 each or two for $10. The “Survivin' the Ride” t-shirts are available for $15 each in sizes small through extra-large. Double extra-large t-shirts cost $16 each.
