MILDRED BEHRENS

Mildred Behrens, 87, passed peaceably Jan. 6, 2018, in Fort Collins, Colo.
Mildred was born to Elizabeth and Carl Barnes on Sept. 14, 1930, was married to Delmar Behrens, and was the loving mother of four children, Steven Behrens, Elizabeth Smith, Ronald Behrens and Mark Behrens. She had 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She has a surviving sister, Carlyn Achenbach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Behrens; son, Steven Behrens; and brother, Merlin Barnes.
A kind and caring person, she devoted her life to her family who loved her. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Springs of Life Foursquare Church, 2300 26th St. NW, Cedar Rapids.
