Richard J. Collins, 57, of Waterloo, formerly of the Independence area, died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with the Rev. William Black officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home
He is survived by cousins.
