Wildman, Doris Jean

Doris Jean Wildman, 76, of Iowa City, died peacefully Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at her home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 15, at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Michael Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City, where a rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m. Monday.

Doris is survived by six children, Kay Mayfield, Pamela Wildman, Greg Wildman and Billie Ann Wildman, all of Iowa City, Jeff (Rhonda) Wildman of Riverside, Jay “Douglas” Wildman of Atkins; Jay (Rose) Gillispie, who she raised; 15 grandchildren, Jessica (David), Katie, Courtney (Cody), Chelsea (Brad), Tyler, Melissa (Robert), Samantha, Jillian, Jacob, Nick, Sara (Luke), Rick, Riley, Kate and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Gianna, Chloe, Cody, Skylar, Adele, Jay and Stone; and three siblings, Colleen Mosley of Simi Valley, Calif., Carol Ketchum of Solon and Paul (Mary) Potter of Iowa City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or St. Patrick's Church.
