Miller, Esther May
Esther May Miller, 67, of Marion, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at St. Lukes Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Pastor Brice Hughes will officiate with burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Jan Miller of Marion; two sons, Kenneth Lee (Judy) Miller of Cedar Rapids, and Keith Loren (Mary) Miller of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Adam John Miller (Mandii); a great-granddaughter, Azaylea Rose Miller; two brothers, William and Robert Dryer; and three sisters Ruth Richard, Carol Zavada and Martha Floyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Kevin Lance Miller.
Esther was born Oct. 27, 1942, in Napa, Calif., the daughter of William and Hazel (Woods) Dryer. She married Robert Jan Miller on July 7, 1961, in Casper, Wyo. Esther worked as office coordinator for Life Investors and for PMX Industries Inc. Esther was a member of the Marion Christian Church, Embroiderers Guild of America Inc. and she attended Milestones Day Care.
