RICK ROWLEY
Anamosa
Rick Rowley, 63, of Anamosa, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at his home.
Rick's family and friends are invited to celebrate his life from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Lawrence Center in Anamosa.
Richard Neal Rowley was born Aug. 7, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Richard and Carol (Langhoff) Rowley. He graduated from Anamosa High School in 1972. He married Deborah Willis on July 2, 1977, at Prairie Chapel Church, Marion. He ran his own trucking business and later owned and operated Rick Rowley Enterprises in Anamosa.
He enjoyed fishing, fireworks, auctions and die-cast toys, and was an eclectic collector. He loved taking an interest in people, talking to and joking with them, and making them laugh. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family.
Those remembering him are his wife of 40 years, Deb Rowley, Anamosa; his children, Jeannine (Tom) Givens, Fairview, Kendra Gardner, Cedar Rapids, Amanda Rowley, Fairview, and Jordan Fox, Anamosa; grandchildren, Alisia Rowley, Dustin Givens, Joshua Phams, Ava Draper and Joseph Erickson; his parents; his siblings, Kenneth (Sarah) Rowley, Christopher (Kelly) Rowley and Katherine Rowley, all of Anamosa; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund is being established in his name, and memorials may be directed to his wife, Deb. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at goettschonline.com.
