UPDATED INFORMATION
Jamie Lynn O'Donnell, 28, of Anamosa, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City following a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anamosa, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sister Susan Dunwald will officiate at the service.

Surviving are her fiance, Todd Powell of Anamosa; a son, Andrew Powell; stepson, Ian Hiepler; her mother, Rene (William) O'Donnell-Hanlon; three sisters, Candace O'Donnell of Anamosa, Jodie Meseraull Crosser of Garner, Iowa, and Jenny Beach of the Twin Cities; stepsister, Andrea Hanlon of Cedar Rapids; niece, Ember O'Donnell; grandmother, Rose O'Donnell of Anamosa; and aunts, Lynn O'Donnell of Cedar Rapids, Kim Sitarski of Freemont, Neb., and Jean Thompson of Lone Tree.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Meseraull.
Jamie Lynn O'Donnell was born June 7, 1981, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was the daughter of Thomas and Rene O'Donnell Meseraull. She was a 1999 graduate of Anamosa High School. Jamie was an avid fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and caring for animals, but the thing she treasured most was the time she got to spend with her family and children.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial for Jamie has been started at the Security State Bank in Anamosa, P.O. Box 456, Anamosa, IA 52205.
