Larsen, Mary Jane
Mary Jane Larsen, 75, of Marion, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a sudden illness. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Marion Christian Church, by the Rev. Brice Hughes. Family will greet friends one hour before services at the church. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Clark of Marion; her children, Sheila Hepker of Phoenix, Ariz., Terri Covington of Phoenix, Rick (Angela) Larsen of St. Charles, Mo., and Lisa (Mark) Cracraft of Urbandale; four grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Ashton and Sydney; and a sister, Maxine Henry of Marquette.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tommy.
Mary was born June 30, 1935, in Marquette, the daughter of Frank and Edna (Weidenbach) Matthew. On June 15, 1954, Mary was united in marriage to Clark Larsen in Rapid City, S.D. She was a member of Marion Christian Church.
A memorial fund has been established in Mary's honor.
