Chambers, Sandra (High)
Sandra (High) Chambers, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Brice Hughes.
Survivors include her father, Paul High of Joplin, Mo.; a son, Jon Boots of Cedar Rapids; brother, Gary (Jan) High of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Linda Curtis, Jackie (Russ) Lewis and Darla (Chuck) Gunderson, all of Cedar Rapids; stepchildren, Willis Jr., Wade, Warren and Matthew Chambers and Tammie Chambers and Salley Miller; many stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and special pets, Molly and Susu.
Sandy was born Sept. 6, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Paul and Doris (Currier) High. On Sept. 21, 1983, she married Willis Chambers Jr. in Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her mother; husband; and sister, Lorie High.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
