MERLIN HULTMAN

Paducah, Ky.

Merlin Milan Hultman, 90, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 3 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Hultman worked in maintenance for Hultman Signs. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II and a member of Southland Baptist Temple, Paducah.

He is survived by one son, Steven Hultman and wife Sylvia of Bowdenham, Maine; two daughters, Marcia Lee Lewis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Cori Poindexter of Paducah; six grandchildren, Holly Kohl, Todd Lewis, Eric Lewis, Chris Hultman, Nicholas Hultman and Peyton Poindexter; great-grandchildren, Reese Elizabeth Poindexter, Skylar Edward Lewis, Makailli Ann Lewis, Brianna Carol Lewis, Kayla McKenzie Lewis and several others; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl John and Julia (Johnson) Hultman; wife, Betty Elizabeth (Himes) Hultman; one son, Marlin (Bud) Eugene Hultman; son-in-law, Jack Lewis Jr.; one brother, Marlin Milo Hultman; and three sisters, Darlene Bradley, Bernice Hultman Huss and Corrine Hultman.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 23, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah, with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 23, at the funeral home.
