Clements-Bartolomucci, Grace
Funeral services for Grace Clements-Bartolomucci, 85, of Davenport, formerly of Tipton, who died Jan. 15, 2010, in her home after a long bout with cancer, will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. A visitation will take place Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, with a rosary service at 7 p.m., and also 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday before the funeral mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Tipton.

Grace was born in Casey County, Ky., on July 22, 1924. In 1940, she came to the Tipton area and met Bud Clements through her sister, Lillian, and married Bud on April 11, 1940. Together they raised eight children. Bud passed away in 1985. She then met and married Orlando Bartolomucci on March 17, 1987, in Florida. He passed away in 1994.
Grace was a homemaker, a cook at the Bennett school, and retired from Sheller Globe in Iowa City. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tipton before moving to Davenport, where she was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose for many years.
Grace is survived by eight children, Brenda (Sid) Brown of Wilsonville, Ore., Wanda Ossmann of Davenport, Ellen (Lester) Proctor and Gracie (Norman) Gritton, both of Tipton, Paula (Michael) Ruefer, Catherine (Rick) Hollingsworth of Davenport, Candi Clements of Muscatine and Eddie (Shelley) Clements of Stilwell, Kan.; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, Moses and Martha Wethington; three older brothers; three older sisters; and grandson, Billy Joe Proctor.
