Fishback, Larry James
WASHINGTON - Larry James Fishback, 66, of Washington, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at his home in Washington following a sudden illness. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Sunday evening. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
Larry was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Muncie, Ind., the son of Harold Eugene and RuthEllen (Fullhart) Fishback. In 1963, he graduated from Albany High School in Albany, Ind. He later attended and graduated from William Penn College in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Larry is survived by his son, Larry Lee Fishback and wife Brenda of Washington; son, Nathan Fishback and wife Rachel of Washington; daughter, Ashli Turner and husband Trey of Bentonville, Ark.; seven grandchildren; brother, Jay Fishback and wife Dolores of Swansea, Ill.; sister, JoEllen Hickey and husband Rory of Muncie, Ind. and his father-in-law, Raymond Landau of Washington, Iowa.
A general memorial has been established.
