DeWitt, Esther J.
Esther J. DeWitt, 34, of Hiawatha, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, from complications of pneumonia. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, at Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Marion by the Rev. Michael Kleeberger. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial to take place at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby DeWitt of Hiawatha; her father, Robert DeWitt of Davenport; and three brothers, Robert DeWitt Jr. of Hiawatha, Mark DeWitt of Davenport and Timothy DeWitt of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Esther was born Jan. 5, 1979, the daughter of Robert and Ruby (Easterling) Dewitt in Danville, Va. She was a member of Squaw Creek Baptist Church.
A memorial fund has been established in Esther's memory.
