Glowacki, Genevieve C.
Genevieve C. Glowacki, 86, a resident of Iowa City, formerly of Davenport, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, while visiting in Seattle, Wash. Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 422 E. 10th St., Davenport. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., Davenport.
Genevieve is survived by her nine children and their spouses and 19 grandchildren, locally, Vicki (Clay) Claussen and their children, Heather (Eric) Erwin, DJ Claussen, Erin (Darren) Schuessler and Matthew (Shanon) Claussen; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; son, Michael; and a grandson, Sean.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Patrick's Society Memorial, The University of Iowa Foundation in support of Dr. Kienzle, or Sisters of Charity, BVM, Retirement Fund.
