Esther Wilma Jones, 81, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at her daughter's home in Missouri. Services are
being planned for March at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Esther was born April 9, 1933, to Arthur and Rachel (Robbins) Sunderlin in Earlville, Iowa. She married James Ernest Jones in 1959. Esther made her home in Cedar Rapids until her final year and loved her morning walks at Walmart.
She is survived by her children, Wilma "Willie" Braudaway of Texas, Gary Jones of Texas, Arthur Jones of Washington and Esther Young of Missouri; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and eight siblings.
