Greazel, Maryann
Maryann Greazel, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011, at her home with her family at her side. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 11, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. William Harnish officiating. Friends my call from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her children, Sheryn Cushman, Robert Jones, DeWayne Jones, Kenneth Jones, Thomas Jones and David Jones; and her brother, Frank Edmunds. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Edmunds; two daughters, Patricia Conway and Judith Simpson; and a brother, Robert Edmunds.
Maryann Edmunds was born March 30, 1933, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of James and Mary (Jinech) Edmunds. Maryann married Leo Greazel on March 16, 1978, in Cedar Rapids. Leo passed away Jan. 7, 1996. She was a member of the Cedar Rapids American Legion Auxiliary and really enjoyed her bingo. Maryann was a homemaker and an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to so many and she will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
