Chad J. Nadermann, 29, of Delhi, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at his home in Delhi. Friends and relatives of Chad may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville. A wake service will be held at 2 p.m. Friends and relatives may also call after 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manchester. Services for Chad will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's in Manchester, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider presiding. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Manchester, Iowa.
Chad was born July 22, 1985, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Charles and Nola (Reiff) Nadermann. He received his education at Western Dubuque High School in Epworth and NICC. Chad worked at John Deere in Waterloo and owned and operated ProWash. He was well known for his artistic carpentry skills. Chad enjoyed spending time with family, especially his time fishing with his son, Carter.
He is survived by his son, Carter Joseph Nadermann; and Carter's half-brother, Skyler; his parents, Charles and Nola Nadermann of Manchester; one brother, John (Stephanie) Georgen of Manchester; one sister, Anna (Weston) Smith of Johnston; one niece and three nephews, Maleah, Jacob, Jack and Jay, all of Manchester; his maternal grandmother, Anna Mae Reiff of Farley; godparents, Jane (Larry) Losey of Fort Meyer, Fla., and Bernie (Deb) Reiff of Farley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vivian and Alfred Nadermann; grandfather, Robert Reiff; one uncle, David Nadermann; and twin cousins, Jill and Janelle Simon.
A Chad Nadermann memorial fund has been established.
