Bean, Terry C.
Terry C. Bean, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday evening, Dec. 20, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Papich-Kuba Janeba Chapel West, 1604 J St. SW. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Sisley Grove Cemetery.
Terry is survived by his wife, Sally; children, Kyle Carter, Hiawatha, Candy (Chad) Moser, Independence, Kelley Carter, Center Point, Aaron Bean, Melissa (Joshua) Fortner and Corrina Bean, all of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Tiffany, Kayla, Mason, Asianna and Kiaya; brothers and sisters, Jerry (Vicki) Bean, Larry Bean and Doug Bean, all of Cedar Rapids, Ronnie (Jean) Bean, Norway, Judy (Keith) Joyce and Jim (Terri) Bean, both of Marion, Kathy Parrish and Gary Bean, both of Cedar Rapids, Fred (Cindy) Bean of Brighton, and Randy Bean and Charles Bean, both of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marjorie (Bell) Bean; two infant brothers; two infant sisters; nephew, Mike Bean; and niece, Tina Bean.
Terry was born Aug. 12, 1952, in Iowa City, and was a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids. He married Sally Carter on March 17, 1984, in Cedar Rapids. Terry was employed for 28 years at Nash-Finch until July 2003.
Terry loved bowling and had been a member of the Friday Night Boozers team at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center. He had also coached the youth bowling leagues.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
